This game is not designed to run on your device. Add it to a collection to play later, or you can try to run it anyway.
Vibe to pulsing squares and light beats, lure your enemy into traps without falling into them yourself, and reach the goal to win!
I recommend enabling sound. Much of the game is cued on sound so it'll be easier to play if you have it :)
Controls:
- Arrow Keys or WASD: Plan moves
- Space: clear all moves
You can cancel an individual move by inputting the opposite move immediately after it: for example if you hit "Up" but didn't mean to, you can hit "Down" to un-plan just that move.
Directions, advice, etc:
- To complete a level you must eliminate the grey 'enemy' (by luring them into a trap). Once you've done that navigate to the yellow 'goal' to complete the level.
- The grey enemy will follow you around: the path that you see is their next planned move. Their next move is always based on your current position.
- The game tries to teach you this early but it's important to know: once you've moved into a teleporter you can queue up moves on the other side: you can plan out a move that is like "use my first move to move into this teleporter, then use my second move to move out of the other side and to the right."
- Your enemy doesn't understand how teleporters work - he'll always plan moves as though they didn't exist. You should use this to your advantage!
- I hope the tutorial isn't too bad. If you're confused just post here and I'll try to clarify things!!
Other Stuff:
Made solo from scratch in a week for the Pursuing Pixels James Jam Game Gam #2! The theme was "penalized" and I interpreted that as "penalize your opponent for falling for traps."
